If you are looking for a quiet, country setting for you and your RV, then SNOWBIRD SOUTH is the place for you. The Park was founded in 1982, especially for those retired people, who like making friends and enjoy the easy life. Our park was built by members who volunteered their labor and knowledge. This type of support is still needed for our camp to function. Our goal is to provide the very best possible campground at reasonable prices.
SNOWBIRD SOUTH has 105 (18 sites with 50 amp and 87 sites with 30 amp) sites located on 35 acres. Lots are oversized 50 x 100. Most sites are pull-through and beautiful oak trees shade some. All lots are full hookups. Clean, modern bathrooms with hot showers are provided for your convenience. We have a club house, equipped with game tables, darts, pool table and a full kitchen. There are weekly potluck dinners, cook-outs, coffee and donut times, Bingo nights, jam sessions and karaoke. You are welcome to join in planning our monthly activities and fun times. Outside activities include horseshoes, shuffleboard and sightseeing day trips. A half-mile walking trail surrounds the park. Webster Flea Market is just 10 minutes away. Mail is delivered daily from Center Hill and placed in boxes for pick up by our members at their convenience. [ Back To Top ] Rates RATES FOR 2011-12 SEASON
One to Four Months $310.00
plus electric A minimum of Four
Months is required during Season. Season begins
October 1, 2011 and ends April 30, 2012 Above
prices go into effect October 1, 2011.
Prices are for two people – each additional
person (12 & older) is $2.00 per day, $10 a week or $30 a month.
On-site Storage: $ 50.00
per month
Storage rate includes mowing your lot once a month
during off season, but does not include trimming your flower beds. You are responsible for mowing and trimming
during your stay at the Park.
Rent must be paid by the 5th of the
month. If it is not, a $25.00 late
charge will be added.
SNOWBIRD SOUTH is located ½ mile east of Center Hill, Florida on Highway 48 which is almost the geographical center of Florida. It is just minutes from Webster, Bushnell and Leesburg. Many of Floridas leading attractions are within easy driving distance, such as Disney World, 45 minutes; Busch Gardens in Tampa, 1 hour; Silver Springs at Ocala, 40 minutes; Mt. Dora and The Villages, 40 minutes; the Space Center at Cape Canaveral and several major league baseball teams spring training camps are within 1 - 2 hours. See our maps page. [ Back To Top ]
